Resort Overview

Rajah Beach Ayurveda Clinic is located in Kerala, in the Akalad area (Thrissur district), approximately 86 km from Cochin International Airport (COK). The transfer from the airport takes about two hours by car.

The clinic is just a five-minute walk from its sister property, Rajah Eco Beach, while the quiet, expansive Akalad Beach—stretching for miles—is only 300 meters away and ideal for peaceful seaside walks.

Rajah Beach is one of the smallest Ayurvedic clinics in Kerala, with just 10 rooms, yet it offers a level of comfort and service typically found in much larger resorts.

Set on more than 8 hectares of lush grounds, the clinic features a library, multiple relaxation areas and spaces for board games, a large freshwater swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas, a dedicated yoga area, as well as hammocks and lounge chairs nestled among coconut palms.

Bicycles are available for exploring the surrounding area.

The clinic welcomes guests with children. Children under 6 stay free when sharing a bed with parents; an extra bed is available for USD 5 per day. Accommodation without treatment (for accompanying guests) is available at USD 24 per day.

Medical Team & Treatments

The Ayurvedic center includes consultation rooms, a medicinal kitchen and pharmacy, 4 treatment rooms, and a relaxation area by the pool. The team consists of 4 doctors and 16 therapists.

In addition to classical Ayurvedic therapies, treatments such as acupuncture and acupressure may also be offered (as prescribed by the doctor, at no extra cost).

Russian-speaking guests can request an interpreter for consultations with the doctor.

All medicines and oils used in treatments are produced at the group’s own Ayurvedic manufacturing facility located at Rajah Healthy Acres.

Treatments are conducted twice daily and include oil massages as well as other Ayurvedic therapies.

The average duration is 1.5 to 2 hours per day: a main treatment (around 1 hour) and a secondary localized procedure (30–45 minutes).

Wellness Programs

Alongside core Ayurvedic programs such as detoxification (Panchakarma), immune support, and weight management, the clinic also treats a wide range of conditions, including diabetes, obesity, gastric ulcers, male and female infertility, eye disorders, dystonia, hemiplegia, hypertension, asthma, musculoskeletal disorders, sclerosis, peripheral neuritis, psoriasis and other skin diseases, rheumatic joint pain, rheumatoid arthritis, and neurological disorders.

Yoga & Meditation

Yoga sessions are held twice daily—morning and evening—with part of each session dedicated to meditation.

Nutrition

The spacious restaurant at Rajah Beach serves exclusively vegetarian cuisine, tailored to each guest according to the recommendations of the Ayurvedic doctor. Most ingredients are sourced from the clinic’s own orchards and vegetable gardens.
